Due to our small program and course sizes, acceptance into the program and course selection is competitive. We highly recommend applying early, or by the priority application deadline of April 1, 2020.

Acceptance to SFAI PreCollege does not automatically enroll you in courses. In addition to applying early, we recommend submitting your tuition deposit promptly in order to have the best chance of getting into your first-choice courses. You will be notified by phone and e-mail of an admissions decision within one week of receiving your completed application and materials.

"Studying at SFAI PreCollege made me feel motivated to push myself to create art beyond what I've ever tried to before. With the support of the teachers and community here, I was able to expand my abilities and open my mind to new techniques and other people's ideas that would push me to work harder."
