We tell stories.
We find ourselves partnered with solitudes and crowds.
The dynamics of space surround us.
These artists frame the intimacies of relationships as they tell personal stories, shift narratives, and become witness, subverter, and documentarian. STORYTELLING is a collection of individuals who find and compose moments around the invisible threads of story, location and positionality.
These seven artists were selected by the semester’s jurors— Vasudhaa Narayanan, Ileana Tejada, and Dale Carrico— through a competitive process of reviewing individual student exhibition proposals. The resulting show includes a celebration of media including painting, sculpture, Printmaking, video, photography and installation.
With humor, yearning and a sense of everyday movement, stories are told.
