In a world of narrowing perspectives and under constant attack from fake news and rhetorical hyperbole, art provides a means of communication that has the ability to push through societal barriers and expose the stark reality. We must preserve this right and address controversial subject matter with an honesty of intention that only art can achieve. Leveraging visual and installation art, this collective expression presents the underbelly of human nature and tackles socio-political issues of feminism, gender, race, and the environment.
