The Act of Seeing is a solo show exhibiting the work of David Fagan.
Looking out, looking in, and peering through represent acts of contemplation. They include many tropes of the word to “see” offering an opportunity for both physical and physiological activity. By drawing attention to the act of seeing, Fagan directs our gaze to the experience of viewing and reflecting. In his pictures, he contemplates pastoral and physical experiences within his own immediate environment on Mare Island located 35 miles northeast from Fort Mason.
