Join us for the opening reception of this year’s Post-Bac exhibition, Rich Silences, featuring works by Evelyn Hang Yin, Yida Li, Kate Smith, and Yourong Zhao; curated by Sherwin Rio and Yida Li.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
The show’s title, Rich Silences, is taken from a quote by Michel de Certeau, in which he describes the remarkable abundance of stories hidden in the everyday. Artists in this exhibition attempt to question and reimagine the traditional definition and roles of gender, exam-oriented education, modes of communication and the value of mundane objects.
Special thanks to Reagan Louie and Frances McCormack.
