ABOUT THE EXHIBITION
Many artists from the beginning of time have gravitated towards storytelling in their work. Narrative elements show up across all mediums: comics, paintings, prints, ceramics, among many more. Storytelling remains to this day the single most important tradition humans participate in. We use stories to make sense of our world and to share that understanding with others. It is the signal within the noise. Using storytelling, we are able to travel throughout space and time. We can be anywhere, at any time, and fully immersed in that world that is created for us. When we tell stories we are sharing a part of ourselves in our most intimate ways, and inviting the viewer to feel what we feel.
