"A magical polymorphous substance" is how Michael Taussig describes Color. This show, Color Me Vibrant, is centered around each artist's specific and magical use of vibrant color. The two-dimensional and three-dimensional works radiate each artist's color revelations and explorations, engaging in a range of inspiration, such as sound, nature, plastics, dream worlds, and cartoons. Color surrounds us, influences us, stirs our emotions, and keeps life uniquely interesting. Roland Barthes wrote, "Color is a kind of bliss," in his writing "Cy Twombly, Works on Paper." This show is a celebration and critical dive into the magnificently unanswerable question What is Color? And What and Why does it make me Feel?
