you are variations is a transdisciplinary research that explores more-than-human encounters with trees as political ecology understanding the sonic as a medium of and for relationality.
The research addresses a vital, urgent and intricate matter of concern:
Can we learn to listen to a tree?
And if our listening becomes relational, do trees listen to us?
The project reveals that listening as ‘active tuning in’ leads to a new we, /wiː/, an inclusive ‘tree ecology’.
