Individual Career Counseling
Individual career counseling provides one-on-one assistance on a variety of topics, and is a great way to start a conversation about your future, identify your strengths and weaknesses, and explore your options. Appointments can be used to address specific questions or needs that you may have—including job search strategies, submitting work to a gallery, interviewing skills, and anything else career related—but can also help students who might not have a well-formed question or know exactly what their career goals are.
Job, Internship, and Opportunities Listings
New part-time, full-time, internship, and freelance opportunities are posted every Tuesday via an email titled “Opportunities @ SFAI”.

Writing Coaching
Appointments are available to assist you in drafting and revising effective professional written documents, including resumes, cover letters, artist statements, application essays, and more.
Workshops + Programs
Career and professional development workshops offer targeted information and business insights. The Student Affairs Office also invites seasoned experts to address a range of professional topics of interest to theorists, curators, and artists in all disciplines. Those offered in Spring, 2018 were:
