Marisa Aragona


Marisa Aragona’s photo-based work and installations have been exhibited in New York, San Francisco, Oakland, Washington, D.C., and Seattle, among other cities. Recent venues include Jen Bekman Gallery, Steven Woolf Fine Arts, University of the Arts, and Photographic Center Northwest. Aragona’s work has also traveled internationally to Vilnius, the capital city of Lithuania, as part of the “Madamorfozes” Project sponsored by IEVA Magazine. Her photographs have been published by and received awards from The Photo Review (a journal curated by Lesley Martin of Aperture Magazine), as well as the Association of Women Photographers and the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art. Aragona received her MFA from SFAI in 2005 and her BFA from the School of Visual Arts in New York in 2000.
