Léonie Guyer

Instructor I

Léonie Guyer makes paintings, drawings, site-based work, and books. Her work is characterized by idiosyncratic shapes that are deployed in a variety of spaces. Recent exhibitions include: Léonie Guyer: form in the realm of, CCA Wattis Institute for contemporary Arts; Flower(s) in Concrete: Léonie Guyer / Wayne Smith / Lynne Woods Turner, Fourteen30 Contemporary, Portland OR; Léonie Guyer, odium fati, San Francisco; Way Bay, UC Berkeley Art Museum and Pacific Film Archive; and others. Guyer has made books in collaboration with poets Bill Berkson and Franck Andre Jamme. She is a Columnist in Residence on SFMOMA’s Open Space.
