Laura Pacchini is a painter in San Francisco having shown internationally, holds an MFA from San Francisco Art Institute, and BA from Denison University (Art History and Painting). Her work deals with whistleblowers, heroes and heroines that often exist invisibly in our quotidian life as well as those whom we carry forth in our collective conscience.  She finds the small choices people make that change the course of life for the better to be fascinating.

She is an Artist-in-Residence at San Francisco Arts Education Project — teaching at Harvey Milk Civil Rights Academy, public elementary school and is working with the education department through the Fine Arts of San Francisco at the Legion of Honor.
