Juana Schurman, born and raised in San Francisco, is an attorney and Senior Vice President of Oracle America, Inc. Juana received her BA from Hampshire College and her JD from University of California, Hastings College of the Law. Juana enthusiastically attended SFAI during a summer college break and is married to artist Tony Ligamari who received both a BFA and an MFA from SFAI. Juana is a past president and former board member of the Bay Area Ethics and Compliance Association, a member of the board of directors of the California Employment Law Council and a member of the legal committee of the Employers Group. Juana has been a volunteer at numerous organizations, including the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Rental Gallery, and was an active member of her two childrens' school communities, including acting as an annual fund chair. Serving on the Board of SFAI allows Juana to combine her passions for art, education and San Francisco.
