Carey Lin is a visual artist based in San Francisco, California. Her studio practice spans painting, drawing, installation, and Stairwell’s, a collaborative social practice project. Lin earned her M.F.A. at the University of Chicago and her B.A. from New College of Florida. Her work has been exhibited at Incline Galllery, Root Division, ampersand international arts, Aggregate Space Gallery, tmoro projects, Interface Gallery, Tartine Bakery, Hyde Park Art Center, Samsøn Projects, DOVA Temporary, and more. She has completed artist residencies at Opossum House (OR),  the Wassaic Project (NY), Vermont Studio Center, and Irving Street Projects in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset.
