Agnes Bourne A.S.I.D, has been working in the design field for over fifty years, creating environmentally responsible and inspiring spaces and objects. Trained in both the practice of art and design, her San Francisco based office included an interior and product design studio as well as a furniture and fabric showroom focusing on design arts. Her work has been collected, exhibited, and published internationally. She has taught several courses at colleges and universities focusing on color and design planning. Ms. Bourne is a trustee of Cooper-Hewitt National Design Museum, Smithsonian in New York City, a Fellow of the Royal Society for Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce in London, formerly a trustee of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and several other art museums and educational institutions .
Since 2000, Ms. Bourne has been a resident of Jackson Hole, Wyoming from where she continues to work as an Interior Designer and educator on projects nation wide and is a director of the Jackson Hole Center for the Arts. In the Spring of 2012, she joined Rowena Finegan to open a retail store, Pine Street Natural Interiors in Sausalito, CA, dedicated to offering green and healthy products for interiors.
