Aaron Terry grew up as a kid with no electricity or running water in the woods of Upstate New York until fate brought his family to Philadelphia, where he grew into the city as a young adult. His biggest fear as a child was nuclear war or a bear attack. Terry’s work has been shown in New York, Puerto Rico, Argentina, Philadelphia, Portland, Oregon and the San Francisco Bay Area. He currently lives in Philadelphia. Aaron works in installation based projects, traditional and non-traditional printmaking, and with sound. Aaron has taught extensively at the California College of the Arts and the San Francisco Art Institute. He has worked abroad throughout Latin America in Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Peru. He is also a DJ and musician in the band Gold Wood. He holds an MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
