Gala Vernissage is SFAI’s premier annual fundraising event to support student scholarships and includes a special VIP preview of the annual Master of Fine Arts Exhibition.
SFAI’s MFA Exhibition has long showcased the next generation of pioneering visual artists. Some will shape the direction of contemporary art, both on a national and international scale, while others will pursue highly successful careers in business, design, and technology. Gala attendees are the first to view and purchase work, meet this dynamic group of ambitious young artists, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind party with hundreds of leading creative minds and supporters of the arts from around the country.
Gala Vernissage 2015 will be held on May 13, 2015 at historic Pier 2, Fort Mason Center—the intended future site of SFAI’s new 67,000-square-foot graduate center.
