Black Futures Month
Wednesday, Feb 8, 2017 - Wednesday, Feb 22, 2017
800 Chestnut Street

Presented by SFAI’s Committee on Diversity and Equity (CODE)

This series of events will celebrate Black artists, activists, and communities whose visions of liberation, resistance, and aesthetic possibility enliven the world as we know it. This series of events aims to make sure we don’t limit the influence of Black culture as only of historical value, but instead we hope to bring history into the present so that we can think about what futures are made possible by Black thought, artistic practice, and activism.
