Liz Crawford joined the Exhibitions and Public Programs department in January of 2017. She supports Public Education, PreCollege, and Young Artist Program students and faculty. Since moving to San Francisco in 2016, Liz has joined the Advisory Council of Root Division, a local non-profit art center that supports emerging artists and underserved youth founded by SFAI alumni. She also gives tours as a Public Guide at SFMOMA. She is an alumna of Brown University’s Public Humanities master’s program and has a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from the University of Vermont. Inspired by one of her heroes, John Dewey, she is constantly seeking out new opportunities to incite wonder through meaningful programming.
