Originally hailing from the Northeast, Katie graduated from Keene State College in 2010 with a BA in Communications and Political Science. From 2011 to 2014 she lived in Nanjing, China working at Oriental Cambridge International Kindergarten as an English Specialist. Aside from teaching English and learning Chinese, she backpacked, hiked, WWOOFed and ate delicious food all around China, Nepal and the Philippines. As an interdisciplinary student of life, Katie enjoys exploring a range of subjects and possibilities, expanding her scope of interconnectedness and the human experience. In her free time she loves to hoop-dance, drawing inspiration from a variety of movements such as yoga, martial arts, ballet and tai chi.
