Johanna Breiding is a multi-media artist and photographer conceived in Death Valley and raised in Switzerland. In 2012 she graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a Master's Degree in Photography and related Media. Breiding's practice deals with issues of identity, loss, cross-culturalism and the changing environment. She is currently working on End of the Line, a long term and ongoing project addressing memory, entropy and the death of analogue photography via the historical and environmental significance of small town Keeler, California. Breiding has exhibited her work nationally and internationally.
