Daniel Melo is a first generation Colombian-American artist and multi-instrumentalist living in San Francisco. He received his English degree from Kenyon College and New Genres MFA in 2015 from the San Francisco Art Institute where he was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. He has taught in Southern Exposure’s Mission Voices program, ESL for six years, and he continues to translate contemporary art documents and publications from Spanish to English. Melo has exhibited in New Yok, San Francisco, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is currently an Affiliate Artist at the Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, California.
